NEW CITROËN C3 AIRCROSS COMPACT SUV: ALREADY HITTING THE 50,000 SALES MARK!
Launched last October, New Citroën C3 Aircross Compact SUV has already notched up 50,000 sales in Europe, of which 23,000 in France. Topping brand forecasts, this success confirms the unique appeal of an SUV that is 100% Citroën! This new model is Citroën's second best-selling vehicle just behind C3. It underlines a renewed sales offensive by the brand, which saw European sales surge by 19% in January!
Launched in October 2017 with a high-profile TV campaign, New Citroën C3 Aircross Compact SUV is off to a flying start. It has already totalled 50,000 sales across Europe, of which 23,000 in France! Topping brand sales forecasts, this new model is now Citroën's second-best selling vehicle, just behind C3. These strong results underline the new momentum of the brand's product offensive. Citroën sales in Europe rose 19% in January 2018, compared with January 2017.
With its unique design, standard-setting modular layout and infinite possibilities for customisation, along with twelve driving aids, Citroën C3 Aircross is confirming its power of attraction with a rich product mix reflecting its instant appeal:
- 60% of orders for the top-trim model (Shine),
- 40% of orders for one of the four interior ambience options
- 30% of orders for a two-tone roof and 30% for a Colour Pack (notes of colour on the roof bars, quarterlight trim, door mirror housings and headlight trim).
New Citroën C3 Aircross Compact SUV won the European AUTOBEST 2018 award and was named ‘Car of the Year’ in the Argus Awards 2018 in France. It is also one of the seven finalists in the prestigious European Car of the Year 2018 awards, the results of which will be announced on 5 March next.
