Because everyone these days is concerned with making the most of their time, Citroën, driven by its Inspired by You signature, is launching CITROËN Service 24/7.
An innovative service which allows the customer to drop off and collect their car at the dealership 24/7 using a completely secure self-service kiosk. Already trialled successfully in Massy and in Marseille (France), this pioneering system will be deployed across 50 sites in Europe during the 1st half of 2020.

PIONEERING AND IN TUNE WITH THE TIMES

In a digitalised world where everything is moving faster, consumption patterns are changing. The growing success of new services like ‘Click&Collect’ from supermarkets testifies to this. Mindful of these new practices and driven by its Inspired by You signature, Citroën is launching a new approach to automotive service at the dealership: CITROËN Service 24/7.
The main aim of CITROËN Service 24/7 is to allow the customer, for routine servicing operations, to drop off and collect their vehicle 24/7 using a completely secure automatic self-service kiosk. You can drop off the vehicle’s key and registration certificate at the kiosk, while payment for the service is taken online. Once the service has been completed on the vehicle, the customer is informed by text message and can then come and collect their key and their documents at any time from this same kiosk, then head off at the wheel of their car, parked in a dedicated car park.
The result: a new dealership experience, which is simple and at no added cost, which frees the customer up from any time restriction and makes their life easier, while guaranteeing the same quality of service as using the traditional workshop reception.
 

FLEXIBLE AND VERSATILE

This very flexible system also allows the customer to use the kiosk as they see fit: for example, just for dropping their vehicle off (if they wish to come and collect it in the traditional way), or vice-versa. The principle of this self-service kiosk also provides other uses, such as:

  • the possibility of collecting/returning a replacement vehicle 24/7, where necessary and in addition to the dropping off/collection of the customer’s vehicle.
  • the possibility of collecting/returning a rental vehicle 24/7, as part of the Citroën Rent&Smile short-term rental service.

 

EXCITING AND AMBITIOUS

Already trialled successfully for one year at the PSA Retail sites in Massy and Marseille (France), CITROËN Service 24/7 is approved of by its users with an average satisfaction index of 4.8 out of 5. Used in almost 70% of cases outside of the dealership’s opening hours, it demonstrates the relevance of such an offer and even proves to be a tool for winning new customers.
CITROËN Service 24/7 will be deployed in Europe in 50 Citroën dealerships during the first half of 2020, with an objective of over 100 kiosks installed by the end of 2020, on an international scale.
