Visitors to the 52nd Leisure Vehicle Show held in Paris Le Bourget from 30 September to 8 October will be able to discover the SpaceTourer Rip Curl Concept on the Citroën stand. The nomadic and convivial 4x4 van, fully kitted out for limitless adventure, draws on the savoir-faire of Citroën and Rip Curl. Citroën will also be taking advantage of the show to present new assistance services and warranty extensions.

Citroën is taking part in the renowned Leisure Vehicle Show and showcasing its varied range of camping cars based on Jumper and SpaceTourer.

On its stand, Citroën is presenting the SpaceTourer Rip Curl Concept, an original take on the SpaceTourer focused on outdoor sports and co-developed by Citroën and Rip Curl. The last word in mobility and a symbol of limitless adventure, the contemporary van has gained greater off-road abilities through a 4x4 conversion by Automobiles Dangel. And for ultimate freedom, it has been kitted out as a compact camping car by Pössl. The conversion and new kit are both available separately for the SpaceTourer range.

The stylish and functional camping car’s interior and exterior alike are capped off with an original selection of special colours and fabrics. Aimed at outdoorsy types accustomed to the elements, it is robust, spacious and nimble for everyday driving. It boosts the intrinsic qualities of the SpaceTourer, namely modularity, ease of use, comfort and technology for freedom and peace of mind. The SpaceTourer Rip Curl Concept will accompany the Rip Curl team on the Rip Curl Tour by Citroën between October 2017 and January 2018.

Visitors to the show will also be able to test drive two vehicles in the Citroën range (SpaceTourer and Jumper) kitted out as leisure vehicles and enjoy a dynamic at-the-wheel experience around Le Bourget.

The Brand will also be proposing, at no extra cost, an assistance service for owners of camping cars based on SpaceTourer, Jumpy and Jumper: CITROËN CAMPING-CAR ASSISTANCE, a road assistance service available 24-7 covering three geographical regions (Europe, Eurasia, North Africa) and 55 countries with 6,500 authorised repairers. Citroën will also be presenting warranty extensions with exceptional conditions for the vehicles on which these camping cars are based, the aim being to reward customers for responsible driving. The offer will initially be available in the French, German, Italian and Spanish markets.

Leisure vehicles are a key development focus for Citroën. The Brand is pursuing its momentum, having posted the strongest growth of any car brand in Europe in the last two years, and recording an increase in registrations 3.6 times higher than the market average. Citroën is present in the camping-car market notably through the following brands: Pössl, Clever and Campster (Pössl Group), Bürstner, Dethleffs, Carado, Sunlight and Etrusco (Erwin Hymer Group), Adria (Trigano Group), PLA, Giottiline and Itineo (Rapido Group).
