CITROËN LAUNCHES THE CITROËNIST EDITORIALIZER, AN EDITORIAL PLATFORM INSPIRED BY JOURNALISTS
Inspired by people and their lifestyles, the Citroën brand is just as inspired by journalists and their ways of working. At the "La Presse au futur" show, Citroën is innovating and presenting its first editorial web platform: "The Citroënist editorializer". The platform contains all of Citroën's actions (press releases, photos, videos) and provides access to the latest news related to the Brand, as well as the automotive industry and other inspiring themes. The platform also aggregates the news feeds of the Relaxnews news agency and its partner AFP.
In its study conducted with journalists in May and June 2018, the Relaxnews news agency highlighted journalists’ need to provide relevant, accurate, factual and original content (1). Moreover, the media that perform the best prioritize the quality and accuracy of their content, rather than the search for exclusivity.
Aware of the need for journalists to move ever faster and seek greater relevance while dealing with current events, Citroën launches "The Citroënist editorializer". This web platform allows them to better follow, exploit and constantly anticipate the news of the Brand, the automotive sector as well as other inspiring themes (culture, economy, tourism, lifestyle...). For the Brand, this innovation is an opportunity to support the media in their search for reliable and original information.
The Citroënist editorializer, available on www.thecitroenist.com, achieves three ambitions :
- Facilitate access to information by centralizing Citroën press releases, photos and videos, as well as AFP and Relaxnews multimedia content;
- Enlighten by indicating what’s "trending" among 30,000 global sources and on social networks;
- Help to anticipate by providing the key dates and events of the year for the Brand, the automotive sector and other current themes.

The Citroënist editorializer was designed by Citroën in cooperation with Relaxnews, Publicis Groupe’s newstech. The news agency Relaxnews has developed the "my editorializer" platform according to Citroën's needs.
- A qualitative study carried out in May and June 2018 by the Relaxnews news agency, based on semi-structured individual interviews. A total of 16 in-depth interviews, conducted according to an ad hoc interview grid, with journalists, communication professionals and influencers.
