Unveiled in June and the star of the Paris Motor Show, the new Citroën C3 is now featuring in an advertising campaign fully commensurate with its personality. The initial ad film, revealed today in the social networks and broadcast starting on 30 October, showcases the ConnectedCAMTM Citroën, which captures everything the new C3 sees in front of it. At the end of the journey, it transforms the road into a message: “Marry me?”

It is often said that a car is an expression of one’s self. The advertising campaign for the new C3 takes that adage literally, transforming it into a reality with the ConnectedCAMTM Citroën. The hero of the film uses this full HD, social network-connected, in-car camera to create a highly original marriage proposal.

“Marry Me?” is the first episode in a story that turns the spotlight on the new C3’s long list of strong points. The second episode will highlight its customisation potential, interpreted in a surprising manner by the heroine of the story. The third opus will focus on the road-going qualities of the new model.

Filmed in Glasgow and the landscapes of Slovakia, the campaign, created by the Les Gaulois agency and directed by Filip Tellander, illustrates all the vitality and originality of the new C3. The music for the campaign is by the French duo Part Time Friends, composed of Florent Biolchini and Pauline Lopez de Ayora.

The campaign will accompany the sales launch of the new C3, which is now arriving at dealerships. It will be broadcast on television starting on 30 October and accompanied in France with a poster campaign in major cities, a campaign on digital media, and contextualised press inserts. All the campaign material is composed of an alphabet photographed specially on French roads to illustrate the personality of the new C3 and its innovation, the ConnectedCAMTM Citroën.

The films are joyful and connected, like the vehicle they feature, the new Citroën C3, an expressive city car that is “unique, because you are”.
