CITROËN C3: 400,000 SALES IN LESS THAN 2 YEARS!
Launched in November 2016, New C3 has already reached the 400,000 sales mark, including 160,000 since the beginning of the year, which makes it Citroën’s best-seller. In Europe, the number of orders experienced a 12% growth in the 1st semester, which allows New C3 to integrate the TOP 5 of its market segment.
Unveiled less than two years ago, in November 2016, New C3 has already sold 400,000 units including 160,000 since the beginning of 2018. The third generation of Citroën's versatile city car has been a roaring success, with C3 sales’ 12% growth in Europe in the first semester 2018, which allows it to integrate the TOP 5 of its market segment.
Best-seller of the Citroën range, New C3 is the first car to contribute to the company’s new sales offensive: in the first semester 2018, Citroën international sales has registered a 9% growth (compared to the first semester 2017) with the highest volume in Europe in 7 years.
The seductive power of Citroën C3 is also illustrated by a rich product mix that identifies it as customers’ favorite purchase:
- Nearly 40% of orders for the highest trim level (level 3 ‘Shine’),
- Over 65% of sales with the two-tone option,
- Over 55% of sales with Airbump®,
- Nearly 25% of sales with optional interior colour.
