#BORNANDRÉ: CITROËN IS LOOKING FOR A BABY ‘ANDRÉ’ BORN ON THE ANNIVERSARY OF ITS CENTENARY, 4 JUNE 2019
- On this day of the 100th anniversary of the Brand, Citroën is launching #BornAndré, in tribute to its founder, André Citroën.
- The Brand makes a point of putting people at the centre of its thinking, as underlined by its ‘Inspired by you’ signature. And when we are ‘Inspired by you’, we’re surely not going to give ourselves a present?
- So if a child born on 4 June 2019 bears the name of André(e), Citroën will give them an exceptional present: a C3 Origins, the collector’s edition launched for the centenary.

As a Brand which is ‘Inspired by you’, Citroën came up with the idea of giving itself a present, or rather a present for the baby André(e) born on 4 June 2019, and is launching ‘#BornAndré’ on this official day of the Brand’s 100 years. A tribute to its founder, André Citroën.
The #BornAndré operation is quite simple: if a child born on 4 June 2019 bears the name André(e), Citroën will give them a unique present: a C3 Origins, the collector’s edition launched for the centenary.
However, in 2017, there were 747,779 babies born in France*, including 4,810 Emmas, 4,179 Jules and… 104 Andrés. Giving a rate of 0.3 Andrés born each day! This is why from today, Citroën is inviting its community to help it find the baby André(e) born on 4 June 2019 or in the next few days. And if there is more than one, the winner will be drawn at random.

Launched in 3 countries, the operation is open to those named André and Andrée in France, André and Andrea in Italy and André, Andrew and derivatives in Great Britain.
