‘LITTLE BIG RACING – 100 YEARS OF FANS’: WE’RE OFF FOR SEASON 2, WITH A NOD TO CITROËN’S CENTENARY!
- Three, two, one… a few days from the first WRC rally of the year, Citroën is unveiling season 2 of ‘Little Big Racing’, this year called ‘Little Big Racing – 100 YEARS OF FANS’ .
- This video series immerses internet users in the heart of the rounds of the WRC: a Citroën C3 WRC miniature is shown in the setting for each rally, on a scale of 1/43, looking exactly like the real thing!
- This year, the rally spectators are also included in the storyline in sketches full of humour and nods to each stage of the Rally.
- In this year of Citroën’s centenary, each video also showcases one of the iconic cars from the Brand’s history since 1919.

Within the atmosphere of Monte-Carlo glamour, we discover an SM cabriolet parked near the edge of a cliff. Overlooking the city and the sea, a couple contemplates the magnificent view under the radiant sun, against a musical background with a jazzy tone. All of a sudden, we hear a countdown: 3, 2, 1. The race starts and C3 WRC crosses this dreamy landscape, the site of the 87th Rally of Monte-Carlo!
We’re off again for season 2 of ‘Little Big Racing’, this year called ‘Little Big Racing – 100 YEARS OF FANS’: this series of short videos immerses internet users in the race atmosphere by depicting a Citroën C3 WRC miniature in the landscape of the most prestigious special stages of each of the 14 rounds of the 2019 World Rally Championship. This year, the spectators attending the Rally will also share the stage, with a nod to the history and the local customs of the country where the round is taking place.
For season 2, the C3 WRC miniature has adopted the 2019 apparel unveiled a few days ago and created to celebrate the Brand’s one hundred year anniversary. And in tribute to this anniversary, each episode showcases one of the iconic cars from the Brand’s history, with a storyline giving free rein to Citroën’s spirit combining boldness, surprise and humour! Each iconic car also adopts this apparel in the ‘wrap’ at the end of the video, together with the driver.
Each ‘Little Big Racing’ sketch is faithful to the actual racing conditions: it respects the layout of the WRC special stage, but also its specific features in terms of weather and vegetation.
The Brand will also be sharing, on Facebook, behind the scenes footage from the Citroën Racing team led by the drivers Sébastien Ogier and Esapekka Lappi with its daily broadcast from Thursday to Sunday for each rally:
