A CREATIVE AND RECREATIONAL SUMMER WITH CITROËN AT C_42!

Citroën is putting on a creative and recreational feast this summer at C_42, its international showcase venue on the Champs-Elysées in Paris. On the creative front there is a host of craftspeople showing their work. And recreational attractions include an escape game, table football, the C3 WRC show car, and delicious, refreshing IceRoll ice-creams. Then for visitors who will be off the beach afterwards, the C_42 shop boasts a new collection of accessories for making the most of the sunshine.



A creative summer with French Workshop exhibitions and workshops

For this No limit! summer season, C_42 has invited French craftspeople Maud Louvrir Clerc, Karine Mancet, Djenowa and Julien, who will be running workshops on linocut engraving (a relief engraving technique using a block of linoleum), dreamcatchers (a traditional American Indian technique, with a decorative net in a willow hoop), jewellery and silk scarves.

Excitement in store with the escape game

This summer, the first escape game on the Champs-Elysées, C_42 visitors are invited to become trainee secret agents working for the agency ‘Chevrons d’Argent’. To qualify, and prove they are worthy of the agency badges they will be wearing, they have to go through this final trial. There is a 50-minute session every hour, in French or English, at a price of €38 for a group of three to five people. You can enrol directly at C_42 or online at www.c42paris.com.

 

Summer refreshment with delicious IceRoll icecreams

To cool down after all the excitement, visitors on weekends and holidays can enjoy delicious IceRoll icecreams, made directly at the Café André By IceRoll stand. The highly original technique involves laying fruit and cream out on a cold plate (-30°C) and rolling it up ready for the customer. Price: €5 the pot.
