CITROËN BERLINGO ELECTRIC AT THE BRUSSELS MOTOR SHOW: THE NEW STANDARD IN COMPACT ELECTRIC VANS
Citroën is showing the volume production version of Berlingo Electric at the Brussels Motor Show. This LCV demonstrates the Marque's commitment to cutting greenhouse gas emissions. Based on the latest generation Citroën Berlingo, this model maintains all the qualities of the other versions in the range. It is aimed at business customers looking for a practical vehicle that is a pleasure to drive. It will be released in the second half of 2013
Citroën has been producing electric vehicles for some 20 years, including LCVs such as the C15 and C25, and the first-generation Berlingo. Today, the Marque is unveiling the volume production version of the Berlingo Electric at the Brussels Motor Show. The advent of this new version is further proof of Citroën’s determination to cut greenhouse gas emissions. In addition to the C-ZERO, an electric city car, the Citroën range also includes a number of other technologies designed to cut CO2 emissions, from the e-HDi micro-hybrid, to the diesel hybrid version of the DS5 Hybrid4 and the latest generation of PureTech petrol engines.
