THE GIANT SLIDE RETURNS TO C_42 FOR THE SUMMER!
Summer is back and so is the giant slide at C_42. Taking advantage of this event, Citroën’s international showcase on the Champs-Elysées is revisiting the C42° season with original attractions including the BATAK and new models on show. Read on for a guided tour…
The return of the giant slide
Coinciding with the start of summer, Citroën’s international showcase on the Champs-Elysées is reinstalling its renowned giant slide: 26 metres high, 63 metres long and a gradient of between 30 and 33°.
A dizzy descent at an average speed of 4 metres per second for guaranteed thrills. Definitely the fastest way to get from the top floor to the basement of C_42 in just 15 seconds!
Public entry price: 1 ride = €2 / pre-paid cards for 5 and 10 rides for €8 and €14, valid until 11 September.
A BATAK, table football… and even an orange grove!
In the basement, the ball pool has been replaced by new, free activities: a table football game and a BATAK. Designed to sharpen reflexes and coordination, the BATAK game is used by Citroën Racing drivers including José Maria López, to develop their visual acuity. The aim is to hit as many lit targets as possible in 60 seconds.
After their exertions, visitors can enjoy an express freshly squeezed fruit juice from a distributor full of oranges, thanks to an original concept developed by the start-up ‘L’Orangerie de Paris’ (selling price: €1).
Spotlight on the E-MEHARI styled by Courrèges and C4 Cactus Rip Curl
Summer is also an opportunity to showcase the latest brand models:
- on level 2, C4 Cactus Rip Curl, the advert for which is currently on television;
- on level 3, the E-MEHARI styled by Courrèges concept car, unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show last March.
A new exhibition in ‘La Galerie’
On level 3, an exhibition dedicated to Citroën E-MEHARI, in cooperation with Intersection Magazine, presents the work of two photographers: Rémi Ferrante with the “Color Box” series and Pierre David with the series “ Ibiza / E-MEHARI”.
